Haute Music: Super8 & Tab debut in New York City

Trance DJs/Producers Super8 & Tab from Helsinki, Finland are set to make their NYC debut this Thursday February 24 at Cielo NYC. Miika Eloranta who aliases as Super8 and Janne Mansnerus, known as DJ Tab, took a break from perusing their individual careers in 2005 to form the partnership tag team. For their NYC debut, Super8 & Tab can be seen at Cielo, a vibrant space, offering a more intimate feel than your typical New York City Nightclub.

Working on their solo careers until joining forces in 2005, the Anjunabeats recording artists have worked alongside quite a few A-List DJs including Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, Above & Beyond and Ferry Corsten. The trance music duo are best known for their singles “Needs To Feel“, “Helsinki Scorchin“, “Elektra”, “Irufushi” and the 2010 releases “Black Is The New Yellow“, “Empire” and “Mercy” recorded with Jan Burton, and “My Enemy” featuring vocals by Julie Thompson. Also known for their hard-hitting club remixes, Super8 & Tab renditions may be heard amongnst Above & Beyond‘s “Oceanic“, Ferry Corsten‘s “Made Of Love” , Luminary’s Amsterdam”, Paul Van Dyk’s “New York City” and “Nothing But You“. Re-mastering the Above & Beyond club classic featuring Zoe JohnsonCan’t Sleep” in early 2011, Super8 & Tab are sure to supply Cielo with a well balanced set for their New York City debut. Advance Tickets are available for $15 through Made Event, a limited number will be available at the door.

alas…one more dope looking show on the relative cheap that I shall not be attending. One of these days I’m just gonna make it my job to be at all the gigs!
